Tobin C. Gallawa DPM, FACFAS, is a board-certified podiatrist with 25 years of experience who provides comprehensive care at his private practice in Sacramento, California. After earning his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, California, Dr. Gallawa relocated to Texas to complete his residency program at the Houston Podiatric Foundation in Kingswood, Texas. In the years following his residency training, Dr. Gallawa spent time at the Southwest Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine in Conroe, Texas, gaining valuable skills in limb salvage procedures on people with diabetes with profound vascular problems. Dr. Gallawa is board-certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and has the skills to perform the most complex procedures. However, he finds it equally important to know when surgery isn’t the best solution for the treatment of foot pain. At his private podiatry practice, Dr. Gallawa specializes in many foot conditions, including plantar fasciitis, bunions, neuromas, ingrown toenails, toenail fungus, and warts. He’s also an expert in diabetic foot care and wound care.
