  John Demas

  John N. Demas is the founding partner of Demas Law Group, P.C., and has been exclusively representing injured victims for nearly thirty years. John is passionate about helping people, and he has earned a stellar reputation in the community for his dedication and successful results for his clients. John is very active in the legal community and is a past President of the Capitol City Trial Lawyers Association, as well as a current Board Member of the Consumer Attorneys of California. He is a frequent speaker and lecturer at seminars and conventions across the State and has been asked to speak by numerous organizations, including the Continuing Education of the Bar, Consumer Attorneys of California, and Capital City Trial Lawyers. He donates his time and serves as a Settlement Conference Judge Pro Tem and Arbitrator in Sacramento County, and as a Mediator for El Dorado County and Placer County. In addition to representing injury victims, he is committed to educating and informing people about safety and accident prevention. In his spare time, he likes to spend time with his family, exercise, cycle, scuba dive, hike, and travel. He speaks Greek fluently.   Jacqueline G. Siemens is of counsel at Demas Law Group, P.C. Jacqueline graduated from California State University Sacramento with a degree in Government, concentrating on International Relations with a minor in Criminal Justice. Jacqueline obtained her law degree in 2007 from Lincoln Law School. She began her legal career defending medical professionals and trucking companies with a highly regarded law firm in Sacramento. She has spent the last five years concentrating on representing plaintiffs in personal injury cases. Jacqueline 's Awards and Accolades Jacqueline G.   Kate R. Ebert

  Ms. Ebert earned her B.A. from California State University, Fresno in 2006 and her J.D. from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 2011. During law school, she made the Dean’s List and was the American Bar Association Representative for McGeorge. She also interned for the Institute for Administrative Justice (IAJ) where she represented parolees through Revocation Hearings as part of the California Parole Advocacy Program (CalPAP). After law school, Ms. Ebert worked as a Staff Attorney managing the second largest office in Chino, California for CalPAP and continued to represent parolees. In 2013, Ms. Ebert returned to Sacramento to IAJ and began working as a Hearing Officer for Administration Hearings and as a Jury Consultant at Focused Decisions, a full service litigation consulting firm. Over the last 5 years at Focused Decisions, Ms. Ebert has consulted on many high profile civil cases for plaintiffs and defendants. She provided services to clients nation wide on cases covering many areas of law including, wrongful death, personal injury, excessive force, and contract disputes. A few of the services she provided included full-scale mock juries, jury research, jury selection, presentation creation, theme and theory development and trial support. It was the work at Focused Decisions that uncovered Ms. Ebert’s desire to represent injured victims.   Matt Young

  Matt has experience in a wide variety of personal injury cases, including vehicle collisions, premises liability, public entity liability, wrongful death, intentional torts, and general negligence. Matt makes it a priority to ensure his clients are well informed on the complexities of their case throughout the litigation process. He has successfully opposed several motions for summary judgment, which often resulted in large settlements prior to trial. Matt was raised in San Francisco and came to Sacramento in 1997. In his spare time, he loves spending time with his family, golfing, wine tasting and traveling.   Tim Spangler

  Tim Spangler, a Sacramento personal injury attorney, is an associate attorney at the Demas Law Group, P.C. Tim graduated from the University of California, Davis, with a Bachelor of Arts in English and was a four-year Varsity water polo player. In 1993, he received his law degree from Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco where he graduated in the top 2% of his class. Tim has been a practicing civil litigator for 25 years. He began his practice at an insurance defense law firm in San Jose and then served as a Deputy City Attorney at the San Jose City Attorney’s Office, representing the City in an array of litigated matters in state and federal court. In 1998, he became trial counsel for the Sacramento Regional Transit District where he handled over 500 cases and tried numerous cases to verdict, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and wrongful death. From 2014 to 2018 Tim served as Chief Counsel for RT. Responsible for all legal affairs of the District (including handling complex litigated cases), Tim also managed the agency’s Risk Management Department (including third-party claims, insurance, and worker’s compensation) and served as a member of RT’s Executive Management Team. Tim's Awards and Accolades During his time at RT, Tim had a number of cases opposing John Demas and was impressed with John’s persistence, legal skill, and genuine concern for his clients. When John offered Tim the opportunity to join Demas Law Group, he jumped at it. Now, bringing his “insider” knowledge to bear for those injured by the negligence of others, he is a formidable and fearless advocate for his clients. Tim has been granted membership to The American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), a respected professional organization with exclusive membership limited to less than 1% of the country’s civil attorneys. Tim grew up in Davis and has worked in Sacramento for the last 20 years. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.
